I've been trying to get an appointment seen the begining over march! Every time I ring I get to 7th place in the cue and by the time I get through all the appointments are gone and I've tried doing sit and wait few times and it just feels like u r rushed through and with someone that has PTSD and struggles to explain themselves its not good!

Almost impossible to get an appointment when your ill, it's almost like you have to book in advance, oh no I forgot you can't do that either. It's an absolute disgrace. Another thing WHY DID THEY GET RID OF THE DROP IN CENTRE, NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE THERE,!!

partner suffers from extreme anxiety ,high blood pressure, amongst other things , he has been unable to get a suitable appointment for over 2 years , has had no reveiw on his medication i've tried explaining the situation but they just dont seem to give a s**t as all they keep doing is offering appointments at inconvenient times, place and with someone other than who i've managed to get him comfortable with which in itself has been a 12 year struggle not just for him for for the rest of the family having to try and help him

It's disgusting that you can't get to see the same doctor to treat you.and then to have sick people sitting in waiting rooms for so long

i don't mind the air n wait ... But when you go to see a Dr about something and it has to be followed up its very frustrating that you carnt make an appointment to see the Dr you had seen .. And let's face it if your having tests and your waiting for results surely for all it would be better for patient and Dr to see the original one ..... Also don't understand how appointments can be booked up a month in advance when whenever I ring you told you ring on a Monday for appointment be following week !!!!!! Really

If you can plan when you are going to be ill in about a months time then it's fine, otherwise it's sit and wait for 3.5 hours like I did. The defence was that some appointments are released at 8 am and 1 pm - tried that and sat on the phone, 15th in the queue without a hope of seeing anyone.

I'm lucky I have fairly good health but I am personally hearing some real horror stories about the lack of appointments. I'm going to share this far and wide. It needs more publicity.

Impossible to get an appointment, I used to go to the walk in surgery by the council offices until they closed it such a shame as we need more doctors

Tried to book an emergency appointment following an ongoing chest infection and having a bad fall off a horse only to be told they had absolutely nothing. this was at 5 minutes past 8 on a Friday morning.

I am self employed so to be told I have to go to the sit and wait clinic at the Clements surgery just isn't an option for me. I can't afford to lose a morning or afternoons pay.

we need either more GP's or another walk in centre. Use the health centre for what it's meant for or adapt the old court building next to the ambulance station.

I tried to book an appointment today but was told I can't book one has everything is booked for the rest of the month. It's only the 5th of April, so now I have to phone every day in case there is a cancellation.

I work 40 hours a week as a staff nurse for the NHS, and don't get the opportunity to see my own Gp when I need to!! The service is a joke.
