Not enough GP's. Because of the shortage of GP's, they have twice as many patients per GP than average.

Took 4 months to get an appointment, only to be asked 'why didn't you come sooner?'. Also have access to the online booking system and have just managed to get an appointment via that method after trying for just over 2 months (was told by doctor to come back in a month and that was in January and of course you can't book that far in advance - it's a joke).

Never go to doctors as have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for appointment and i am diabetic. if i sit and wait i just turn up cos i can't ring at 8am or 2pm as at work so only use in emergency. sometimes you need an appointment but not ill enough to take the day off work.

What does one have to do.......ring up and say i am going to be ill in 10 days time can i have an appointment please!!!! No wonder that people go to A/E if they cant get to see a doctor. SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE AT THIS SURGERY!!!!

Doctors and staff are great, there just aren't enough doctors to cope.

A serious rethink on GP services and funding needs to happen. I am not holding my breath.

I have tried on numerous occasions to get an appointment to be told there is a 3-4 week wait. By which point the problem has either gotten so bad I've gone to a&e or I've just ignored it. The situation seems to be worse now that the surgeries have joined than it was before.

I can never get through on the telephone. I just have to use the sit and wait.

Very very frustrating to get to see a doctor. Should of kept the walk in centre, relieved the pressure on the doctors surgeries.

Work shifts and can never get appointment on my day off. Saturday appointments are always full. Wait for a phone call is gd but how can they diagnose over the phone with out seeing them.
