We need a system where people who work can get an appointment. Not everyone can sit at the phone for 40 minutes only to be told the appointments are all taken.

It's shocking service from GP surgeries over last few years

It's almost like you have to plan ahead and make an appointment, just in case you're ill. It's ludicrous that we can't phone and get an appointment on the same day, even after my surgery I had to wait 4 days. Why on earth was the crown walk in centre closed, it solved all of our problems and took the pressure off of the other surgeries.

This town is growing all the time, so we desperately need more doctors, just not enough.

I have no complaints whatsoever with the GPs and nurses, and have always been very happy with the treatment and advice I have received. Likewise the reception staff have always been very helpful but the current system just doesn't work or even make any sense?!? I feel sorry for the staff having to deal with a rubbish system and more than likely also having to deal with MANY complaints!!! Something has to change....fast!

Even though I'm poorly I'm not going to bother ringing the surgery to try and get an appointment! It'll either get better or worse in which case I'll go to A&E . Not ideal but at least I'll get seen

It's crazy and will get worse. More and more houses being built, yet no sign of the infrastructure to support it. This town is big enough now to justify having a minor injuries unit really. They should never have closed the walk in centre either.

It's really frustrating when you call in the morning because your baby has been up all night with a temperature or being sick and the phone is always busy, while you are doing this your baby still being sick and whingey on you but you can't leave the phone and finally it gets answered and they tell you all the appointments have gone!!! When you finally get an appointment and go down to the surgery they've got a board up stating that 247 appointments(or whatever figure that month was) were missed and not cancelled so someone else could have it, so the problem isn't just the surgery, it's also people miss using the service

I am so glad someone is doing something. Even when you do ring back when you're told to, you wait in a queue of sometimes more than 10-15 people, only to then be told, 'oh sorry, you've missed the last appointment we had, call back tomorrow'. Its just not working and its about time that they did something about it! Good luck! :)

getting an appointment at Christmas Maltings is an absolute joke, in the three weeks you have to wait for an appointment you are either over your problem or it has got to a state of being too far gone to be helped,

sometimes you need an appointment but not ill enough to take day off work. i never hardly use doctors i have to wait 3 weeks for appointment i am diabetic but i dont get my shift pattern for 2 weeks so i have to ring back then and get appoint 2 weeks later so i wait 4 weeks for appointment. cant ring at 8am as somepeople leave for work then so what do you take day off hoping you can get appointment to be told at 8.05 all appointments have gone. Its like going back to the 1960s why not have a triage that can assess if you need to see doctor or can just do prescriptions for basic things like antibiotics etc. Bring back walk in centre.

I had an infection in my ear and couldn't get an app so I had to speak to a doc on the phone who prescribed antibiotics. I had an allergic reaction but couldn't stop taking them a the infection made me very ill too. Couldn't get to see or speak to a doc so I had to carry on taking the antibiotics and suffer. Totally unavoidable and the receptionist weren't understanding or helpful either. Had to have time off early to deal with it too.

36 calls to the surgery, only to get answered that the appointments released have already gone, try again tomorrow. And why did they have to amalgamate two surgeries, I never experienced before having to wait months for an appointment, until they merged...
