The staff are very good and polite doing their Job but there are to many patients and not enough Doctors.

I support this 100%. I phoned on a Monday am 7.55. I got through at 8.20am appointments all gone. I explained my 2 year old daughter had been coughing (nasty chesty cough) for 5 weeks. I had given it plenty if time to clear up by itsekf but it was now affecting her hearing and breathing. I was happy to accept a routine appointment which would have been Thursday. The receptionist said because of her age she would need an emergency appointment call back at 1.30pm! Called back at 1.25pm got through about 1.45pm appointments all gone...i know its not the receptionist fault but i got angry...in the end my daughter suffered another week of plodding along until the following Monday i was lucky enough to get through at 8.10am. My daughter after suffering 6 weeks was put on antibiotics. A&E are constantly moaning of the amount of inappriopriate patients but is it any surprise if the DRs surgery cannot provide the service.

I was told it would be several weeks to get an appointment with a particular doctor or call tomorrow when more appointments are released.

I know how hard it is to get an appointment, my husband needed a Doctor in the week and had to spend an hour and a half in the sit and wait, and I had to wait 3 weeks after ringing 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. , it really is madness

The situation at Christmas Maltings/Clements surgery has become an nightmare. Having previously been so v well treated by doctors who have now left one is left with nothing but frustration and stress which doesn't help chronic and dibilitating health issues. V poor indeed!

This would never happen if you were attempting to make an appointment for your pet at a veterinary practice!

It is becoming a nightmare trying to get a doctors appointment at the surgeries. You often cannot make a forward appointment and the phone in is system is not good. It's a pity they did away with the walk in clinic. I dread to think what will happen when we have the extra four thousand houses which are planned for Haverhill !!
