I know that there will never be a replacement for Nanette Lee, but Lady Jade is just plain ole terrible to listen to on the way to work in the morning. With Lady Jade on the air, she agitates instead of making the ride to work enjoyable. I have been with K104 for over 20 years now and I've hung in there through the bumps and bruises, but I can no longer tolerate Lady Jade in the mornings. I am currently listening to Ricki Smiley and the morning show which is not my first pick, but what else can you do when you got Lady Jade on another station sticking her nose in business that she knows nothing about. For example, on April 11, 2007, a listener e.mailed the radio station with a question on whether or not she should tell her mother that her father was cheating. Lady Jade told the listener to tell her mother. Why would lady Jade want this young Lady, and other listeners who may be in the same situation, to break up her mother and father's 20 year marriage I thought it was totally out of Lady Jade's place to lend this sort of advice because she is not even old enough to understand that situation. Besides, Lady Jade is not even married. It is a catch 22 because there will be many subjects Lady Jade will not associate with so why is she allowed to give advice. I think she needed to keep her opinion to herself on that one. K104 is running away the audience they worked hard trying to build. It would be a shame for Lady Jade to run everybody off. I understand that K104 has transitioned recently to appeal to a younger crowd. That is okay. Its bad enough thay stuck us with Lame Junebug. K104 fails to realize that most listeners in the morning are of an older crowd ,as myself. I am 28 and Lady Jade is getting on my nerves. Kl04 has failed to acknowledge their older listeners and listeners who have been with them and matured with them since day one. Most of the crowd they are trying to appeal to should be in school anyway. I am not bashing Lady J because she was perfect for late nights and on the weekends, but sorry, she is not cut out to handle the heavy morning load, (especially trying to come behind Nanet Lee).Sorry K104 Lady Jade is just not good enough. I realize that I am not the only one who feels uncomfortable with Lady J in my ear every morning. Please help me give Lady J the boot that America needs to give to Sanjaya.
