I have visited this lake many times, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Unfortunately these renters have shown a disregard for private property.
I do not support this application for commercial zoning.

I am opposed to this application for commercial zoning. My husband and I have owned property on Ferrie River for over 20 years and we also own a road access property on Labrash Lake I am very concerned about the environmental impact of the area. In the past it has been my understanding from the Municipality that these areas especially the river properties were Environmentally Protected Areas ? as such I do not understand how they could approve an application as such.

I am a frequent guest and visitor to this beautiful area. The respect for the environment and nature by the residents is what has kept the area so enjoyable. Don't let this one decision affect what people have been able to enjoy for so many years.

Our family purchased a cottage on the Deer River four years ago. We specifically chose Deer River over the big lakes in the area for the peace and tranquility, to our dismay within two years a cottage down the road began renting to young partiers. There has been many loud parties at this rental cottage, we have found empty beer bottles and garbage floating in the river many times. We are adamantly OPPOSED to the rezoning as it will not only negatively effect the natural ecosystem but land value of the area residences.

My family has had a cottage on this lake for many years now and have always been attracted to the natural beauty and peacefulness of the area. If this permit goes through not only will more land be cleared and more buildings constructed (on a lake that is already at its capacity) but these constant renters that have already proven they have no respect for nature or other peoples property will become a constant nuisance.

My name is Sam and though I do not own property in this area I have visited many times and have stay on that very lake through mutual friends. In fact some of my fondest childhood memories come from those mutual friends and their cottage. When I first went up I was amazed with how quite and peaceful it all was. The nature seemed completely undisturbed and the owners of property around the area respected that and worked there hardest to keep it like that. Everyone on that lake respects it and what it stands for. I would hate to see such childhood memories from myself and from my friends be ruined by commercialization and some ignorant party people. I believe in today's day and age we don't need anymore commercialization in an area so peaceful.

Without consultation of others on the lake, and with no regards to the surrounding ecosystem, this man has cleared a road through crown land and now plans to commercialize his property. It's a disgrace to attempt to alter such a beautiful environment, and should not be approved.

We were attracted to this lake for the pristine and virtually untouched nature in this area. There was a bylaw put in place many years ago to stop the severing of properties ad environmental studies showed that our small lake would not support a larger population and would be detrimental to the ecosystem. Approval of a commercial property bringing more population to the lake would go against that. We use 100% environmentally safe products and have respect for all of our surroundings, this would not hold true for renters. We bought our place with the plan to retire for half the year in this beautiful peaceful setting. I very strongly appose this application for commercial development and even wonder how this applicant was given rights to have access to our lake without the permission or approval of the residents in the first place. Something smells fishy here.

I have seen what Sam has done to the crown land on Lake Labrash . He has cut down well over 100 trees without asking anyone, what would it be like if everyone started cutting down trees on crown land.
