I don't have children at BHS yet, but they will be soon. I was born and raised in Bolingbrook and for many years, was embarrassed (and worried) that I'm choosing to send my children to BHS. Since Mr. white has been there, he has done wonderful things to enforce the rules and promote education. For once in a very long time, I could be proud to say my kids went to such a wonderful school. We need Mr. White's dedication!

When I attended BHS, the principals were questionable. I felt as if Mitchem ran it into the ground and I got cheated out of the education I deserved. I'm actually surprised that I graduated from college, because this high school did absolutely NOTHING to prepare me for what I encountered. I signed this petition, because the community clearly cares about Mr. White and that he is truly making positive changes for everyone who is currently attending and will be attending Bolingbrook High School. I also know that if Mitchem or Sennholtz were in the same position, everyone else would have said, "toodles!"

From what I've heard from my former colleagues from BHS (I'm a retired BHS teacher), the school has down a complete turn around (for the good) since Mr. White was hired as the principal. Discipline and the overall atmosphere was extremely bad with prior administrators.
