These kids will have a chance to actually be prepared for college and the real world with Mr. White. I really wish I had him for longer than I did and let's just say college was a huge shock!

Although there were times I disagreed with certain methods of his, he overall has made a huge impact on that school and those students in just the course of one year. It's only getting better, why make him stop now? He's a good influence for Bolingbrook High School.

I was a student under Mr.Whites administration during my senior year of school, in my opinion he wasn't the nicest but he WAS the BEST thing that happened to that school in the four years I attended.

Mr. White has solidified the fact that BHS needs "tough love" . Sure he is not the coolest principal, but he drills into your head what needs to be done and why it needs to be done. He also is true to his word, unlike previous principals. I feel that if freshman have the opportunity to have Mr. White all four years, then they will be more prepared for college than I, or my entire class, ever was.

Changing principals every couple years, creates confusion between staff and students. It does not give them the stability they need in their school environment. Different people=different rules, expectations, etc. Also, I have heard MANY stories from current and former BHS students. Mr. White has been the best thing that has happened to BHS in many years. Before Mr. White, we had planned on moving out of the VVSD so my children wouldn't have to go to BHS. Now, we have considered staying and sending them to BHS, due to all the positive changes. Changing principals, will also result in residents leaving the area to look for better schools for their children to attend. There is no reason parents or children should fear going to high school.

I do not understand what is happening here. I have heard and seen so many positive changes in our school, the most important being that our students are learning more about respect for authority and one another as well as actually being taught in the class room without excessive interruption. I so admire what Principal White has been doing. I would hate to see all the progress he has made go down the drain...for what? That is not clear to me.

He has done wonders for our HS. I hate to think what it will be like when my next 2 children go there and he is not there anymore.
