We the people of Jays Nation hereby petition Major League Baseball to fully review the game film from the Kansas City Royals vs. Toronto Blue Jays game that took place on Sunday August 2, 2015.
We also petition MLB to take immediate action on the Kansas City Royals including manager Ned Yost and the pitcher Volquez for their actions tha took place during the game.
We also petition the commissioner of baseball to take any action deemed necessary against the umpiring crew from the game and hold them accountable for their actions or inactions that took place during the game.
Players in Major League Baseball should be able to do their jobs and take to the field without fear that their careers and lives may be put into jeopardy by pitcher who does not respect players safety and who has been shown to be a repeat offender.
Therefore we petition Major League Baseball to not suspend Toronto Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons nor pitcher Aaron Sancchez for their actions, rather they should discipline the actual offenders in this game.

im still combing through all the game footage and reading every single comment you guys are dropping here. its wild how much agreement there is that the league has it totally backwards on who needs to be held accountable.

the momentum behind this is honestly wild and it shows just how much we all care about fairness on the field. people are finally starting to take notice of what actually went down during that game. lets keep pushing until the higher ups see it too.

That was a travesty. And the Jays still won. Time to send this ump down to the minors. He is letting his pitching bias interfere with calling a fair game and putting the leagues top hitters in jeopardy of serious injury.
No way should any blue jays player or coach be suspended. The umpire crew issued a warning,they never followed tgry till after our pitcher hit one of their players. The blue jays players were hit numerous times.
Kc can hit two guys four times but when we hit one they take him out of the game!
I was at the game Sunday August 2 and the umpire is totally to blame for all the trouble that went on.
The officiating was horrendous. Not only should Jays manager and player not be suspended, the umpire, Wolf and others like him need to be penalized as well as Yost and the responsible Royals players.
Watching that game was ridiculous. The proper ppl need to be disciplined. Not the Jays.
Suspend the umpire Fox as well as the 2 idiots from Kansas city!!!

Disgusting that a pitcher that's been suspended already for throwing at batters wasn't IMMEDIATELY tossed out for repeating the same bad behaviour!! No Jays deserve to be suspended!
