I think a lot of the hassle is because it was done without the knowledge and permission of the public and should have at least been put up for a vote

i dont understand why this has become an issue in the first place why the name can't be left as it is. But if it is to be changed it should be after someone worthy of the honour & jp mcmanus does deserve it is impossible to list the great charities & local students he has supported time to repay & show some gratitute
