Well I would like something to be called, not necessarily after Mary Spring Rice who was a wonderful suggestion but rather Mná na Luimní (The women of Limerick) who fought and died alongside their men to protect this city. I would also like Kate O'Brien our greatest and one of Ireland's greatest novelists who has yet to be recognised by Limerick city council. Shame I say! (Incidentally Kate O'Brien's house is called Ború house and the council left that nearly fall before selling it and renovating it, that speaks volumes for the lack of respect they have for either Kate O'Brien or indeed Brian Ború). No need for another monument to Brian Ború instead call it after some of these women
