The indiscriminate killing of a healthy, non-invasive species is never beneficial to the ecosystem. Predators, in particular, play critical roles that we are only beginning to fully understand now that they have been reduced/eliminated from many places worldwide. It is an trend of ignorance that needs to stop.

As far as i know, the rabies epidemic is pretty much restricted to gray foxes, not red foxes (as in photo). These are quite different animals with their own specialized habits.

I live in the woods...I have ducks, dogs and released squirrels who still see me daily...I also have foxes...red and gray....and I haven’t seen any losses in my other friends...I consider them a welcome neighbor

I lived in Germany an Austria an their governments release rabies vaccine in bait bricks for animals too eat! USA can’t do?

Please don't do this. If you do your homework and talk to local professionals you'll realize this is such a terrible idea and plan.

Please vaccinate the animal population instead! It saves all lives, not to mention keeping the rodent population under control which, in turn, helps control ticks that travel by mice, rats, etc.
