Rabies has always been around like this. It's just been in smaller animals less capable of chasing people(ie:skunks,racoons,bats)

The increase in rodents will increase lyme disease, as rodents are the number one carrier of ticks into population centers.

I’ve been an ADC Agent for decades and this is nothing short of a money grab by APHIS and a ridiculous approach to solving a rabies outbreak. No rabid animals will be caught, only healthy ones. This is foolishness and the Bath city council should be ashamed.

There has to be a more humane way. Using safer traps and observation than blind killing. It’s no difference than mass shootings. These animals can’t defend themselves. That’s our job to advocate for them.

If rabies is the concern, why not drop vaccine pellets to stop rabies. Mass killing of these beautiful critters is horrendous..
