Do Not Close the Veterinary Services Disease Surveillance and Post Mortem facility in Inverness

Ridiculous to close this, always money to waste on other things such as. Galic signs next thing will probably be adding Polish, why is food production not as profitable as energy as they are both equivalent in basic needs for human existence. Millions of people are employed in the energy sector but farmers are not rewarded enough for what they do to attract younger people

It is vital we keep this resource and expertise in Inverness for crofting, farming, conservation and the integration of all of these in a constantly changing environment. This resource is currently used highland wide and from the Hebrides due to the high level of professionalism, experience and commitment of the staff. Please keep it open.

Scotland's remote rural communities need this facility now and in the future.

Stop cost cutting on front line essentials, and stop wasting money on lunches for meetings!!!!!!!

Very shortsighted, memories are short, god forbid F&M ever returns but we must be ever vigilant!

Yet again we are threatened with losing an invaluable service.

This is an essential facility for the area and if it closes we would have to travel to Perth, Aberdeen or Edinburgh which is costly and because of the distance I would probably neither have the time or the incling to go.

Valuable service - don't cut it!

Have we learnt nothing from the foot and mouth debacle? Geographically essential to keep this excellent facility open, Scotland's remote rural community need this, and Scotland needs a spread of post mortem facilities, to cope with whatever the future holds.

Do not act so very foolishly

Total madness to close this lab as there will not be another lab for one hundred miles or more,

This is a critical service for the highland area the remaining centers would struggle with outlying west coast and Island areas This would lead to farmers and crofters not using the service and potentially lead to serious issues not beiging diagnosed

I have used this lab in support of my pullet rearing business over many years and regard it as a vital service.

As an active crofter I see the college as vital to the Highlands and Islands
