The job corps saves lives and restores communities. If you don’t want that then move somewhere else.

I am a teacher in the surrounding area. We have had a few students attend the Anaconda Job Corps. We need the local Job Service for future students. Please reconsider your decision.

Keep the Anaconda Job Corps. It's program for helping young people succeed has been proven since the 1960's.

Why would you close a center that is rated number 8 in the Country?

Anaconda CCC is a home to everyone and who wants more education. This isnt right, students shouldnt have to worry about finding another home who will accept them and help them grow and succeed...Anaconda CCC needs to stay open.

The people in Job corps do AMAZING things in life. Job corps turns people who are addicts and at their lowest to the best people they can be! Not to mention all of the amazing jobs these kids get into after they leave job corps.

Our country needs more powerful programs that actually empower others towards real transformative change. Please keep this jobcorp and support those who don’t talk big, but rather show up big through action!!

Please reconsider this closure. Montana young people are given a hand up --- not a hand out. Keep this facility open.

As a past student that completed and job placed, it breaks my heart that they would close the center down. It saved my life and gave me opportunities I wouldn’t otherwise have. It also gave me life long friends to continue to grow with as a person. It would be a mistake to leave Montana with only Trapper Creek Job Corps. Anaconda offers skill trades that many other centers weren’t able to offer. I pray they don’t take away from the community that many jobs are filled by students that complete the program. Job Corps has this bad reputation for being for “bad kids” or “kids that are getting into trouble”. I was neither of those. I know many that weren’t either of those too. Some of us just needed a place that allowed us something we were missing or a safe place to escape a bad home life. If I lived in Montana still to this day, my son would have likely gone to Anaconda to learn hands on skills and effective ways to manage ADHD without medication like Job Corps did for many people I know.

Small rural towns like this cannot take this kind of hit. GOP shouldn't bite the hand that feeds it.

The facility is so needed in Montana, the students also receive dental and health care and good meals things they may not have otherwise. So many life skills are learned. There should be more in Montana, Closing this facility is NOT the answer.
