It is a travesty to be closing these centers which provide a hand up to kids in need. Shame on the president for closing these centers for no discernible reason.

The closure of the Anaconda Job Corp not only effects the staff and town of Anaconda but impacts the positive forward moving growth needed among youth that may not have an opportunity otherwise. This impact is then carried forward to the service industry and the need for skilled workers, In addition, this center offers many remarkable trades and one of the top and finest welding trades in the nation. It would be a resounding detriment to remiss this trade.

Do not shut down this successful program! I know so many that have benefited by moving into better paying skilled jobs, working a lifetime and paying taxes.

This facility gave me a head start as a contributing American citizen. We need more future trades workers that can keep our country and communities running forward, and without this campus and its courses we will struggle to do so

Anaconda Job Corps. Is a great program for students who can turn there lives around and make a difference in society. They will graduate with a trade and high school diploma. All staff work hard as a team to help the students achieve this goal. Anaconda Job Corps is the HEART of Anaconda

The reasoning behind this closure is simply an assault on disadvantaged youth, relevant and needed training in the trades/construction industry, and on wildfire Management. Privatizing the center will reduce student enrollment because of pay to play, will eliminate several training fields to reduce private cost and will most likely reduce wages and staff. A center that is performing as well as the Anaconda Job Corps Center does should be embraced and supported. It should be used as an example for low performing, government funded programs. Please reconsider this proposal.
