Reverse the decision to close the Anaconda Job Corps Center

This is a wonderful place for students to go to get training in many of the vocational areas. As a high school counselor, I have seen many students obtain their diploma and leave there with good training for a good job. Please don’t mess with an educational process that is beneficial to so many.

My dad worked here for over 30 years and the program was a godsend to thousands of youths, to see it closed would be a total disservice.

I was glad the Anaconda job Corp school was there for my daughter. She was the hall monitor and.that helped her interact with others better and she. Is making 20+ as a heavy equipment operator. If she would of stayed around here she would of been just another pregnant teenager like most her friends. Please don't close the school

The staff and students at the Anaconda Job Corp deserve better than this.

Anaconda job corps is an amazing program and has helped me and many more with an education and a trade to move forward in live an the right step

This would be a huge mistake! Our trade skills are in high need. My husband attended this Job Corps 20 years ago and is doing one of his trades to support our family. This was an amazing opportunity for him.

My mom has worked there for 25 years now. It has been a huge part of my families lives. Please reconsider and not go forth with shutting down this wonderful place that means so much to everyone in the community!

This cannot happen, there are so many kids out there that need places like this!

This program is a great way for kids to learn a trade. Anaconda is a small community and closing this facility will have a major negative impact to the area!

This is one highest rated Job Corps in the nation. They are very successful program. It is also a asset to our community.

The job corps center is an asset to our community and state and is an extremely valuable resource to many kids looking for an opportunity to acquire an education in a skilled trade.

Please reconsider your decision to close this program. It is a very high preforming center and the students need it as well as the community depends on them.

Job Corps isn't just for the younger kids. I was 22 about to fail out of college had no idea what I needed to do. Job Corps gave me a place to live, helped me find a goal, and gave me skills to live on.

We need to invest more in alternatives for our youth — not less.

This is such a wonderful place, to close it is a travesty. My sons best friend, who is like mine has been going here for the past four months and it’s been the most amazing thing to watch him transform. My son was slated to go in July and it’s horrible that he is not going to be able to pursue this dream of getting his heavy equipment operator taught by some of the finest instructors in the United States. Sad for us, sad for Anaconda and most of all sad for all the students that are being denied this attending this wonderful institution.

I am retired from the Anaconda Job Corps. During my time at Job Corps I witnessed many young adults that were on a path to self destruction. I watched many of these students do a complete turn around. Thanks to their education and new found trade skills received at the Job Corps. Closing Job corps is a big step away from making America Great.

Please consider the affect the closure of the Job Corps centers will have on the local communities. Great jobs for families and great alternative training for students. Closure would devastate our local community.

I think it s a horrible and disastrous idea to close the Anaconda Job Corps. It is proven that it has helped many youth achieve many goals as well as giving the highschoolers experience is many different trades It not only affects students but all of Anaconda and surrounding areas as they do so much for many communities and will also affect all employees there. Keeping the Job corps open is the best decision that could be made and our Job Corps should have never been up for getting shut down in the first place as it's the best income etc and ranks #1
