Reverse the decision to close the Anaconda Job Corps Center

Closing the Anaconda Job Corps will have a devastating impact on our community, our young adults and our future.

Keep it open. I am a job Corp grad. & know first hand the value of the education I recieved. I know the value of having one chance ,any chance at success in life. Because job corps gave it to me .

I'm a graduate from 2016 I created their advance Tig program. Shame to see it gone

Please reconsider closing. These programs help many young people get a gopd start to their lift they would not other wise have.

Please reconsider closing the Anaconda camp!

I went to the anaconda job corp two years ago graduate and now own my own business and employe 42 people. All thanks to this centers staff.

The Anaconda Job Corps has given its students hope for the future by teaching job skills. It fills our job market with its students. It supports the community by aiding its infrastructure maintenance and responding to community emergencies. I ask for your support of the Anaconda Job Corps. It is a vital component to our economy.

This program was such a wonderful help to me as I struggled through my teenage years. Just the thought that further troubled kids won’t get to benefit by this program is upsetting. Why shut down such a beneficial program?!

This is a cost effective great center and needs to remain open

Anaconda Job Corps Center is too valuable to thousands of incoming students and the community around it. The training in this center cannot be matched by other centers. Anaconda should remain open at any cost for the success of many more to come.

This program is vital to at risk kids and needs to stay open. Anaconda and the neighboring communities benefit largely as well as these young adults learn trades to use in their futures.

This is a very short sighted decision. Unemployment for youth is one of the root causes of many of the problems in this country.

Job corps has and continues to help hundreds of people become productive citizens to society.

This program prevents homelessness. It provides an education and career opportunities to young people who would otherwise have no options. It gives hope to children who have spent their lives in the system. Cutting funding to something so valuable to so many- ESPECIALLY in such rural areas, will have nothing but negative outcomes.

Growing up in Montana, I've seen many troubled teens ho threw the job core, and become productive people because of this program. We need to save it..

I have friends who greatly benefited from their time at this Job Corps center in their youth. I urge the MT Department of Labor to reverse this decision.
