Reverse the decision to close the Anaconda Job Corps Center

Job Corp was important to improving my future. The training and education I received was unheard of in rural areas of Montana. Removing it or privitizing it would be a loss to all youth looking for a better future.

“04” graduate. Because of my time spent there and the skills I learned I have never been without a job. Don’t deprive others the same opportunities.

Please keep it open it has such a big impact on our community

I went to the Anaconda Civilization Conversation Cebter March 19th of 2002 to December 3rd of 2003. Every student and staff has put an impact on me and put a place in my heart forever. If I had a chance to go back and do it again I would in a heartbeat. Please don’t close our loved Job Corps center down.

This place is vital to our kids that are struggling to find a place in the world. What is going on that We are cutting programs to help kids. They have a chance to learn a trade and see adults who believe in them. Itvis our responsibility to help children.

It is not only about the jobs we would loose but it is about the kids. They are being taught trades so they can make a living wage, they also are filling a big hole we have in America and that is young people with a skill. Not everyone is college material Job Corp gives these kids a chance.

This is going to be the best option for my step daughter in about a year!! Youth need these kind of programs!!

This program is very important for many reasons Anaconda Job Corps saved my life

We need career education opportunities for young people and the Anaconda JC is an excellent provider!

Please continue to operate Anaconda Job Corps as a CCC!!

We need this program for qualified workers in our rural economy. Especially fire fighters!

The government complains that unemployment is too high, too many on welfare etc, yet the government causes the very thing they complain about. The Anaconda Job Corps is extremely important do some research instead of axing a program the government obviously knows nothing about.

In addition, privatization of the Job Corps is a bad idea. I have seen first hand how it didn't work for TSA at many airports. Federal Government ended up taking back operations after private sector failures....

Please reconsider this action

Closing the Anaconda Job Corps would devastating to students and to the Anaconda community. Please don’t do it.

The Anaconda Job Corps has done so much to help our community. Has educated many students who now have a career. Employs people dedicated to their jobs. Closing this center is not a good decision for anyone!!

Don’t get rid of this gem.
