Don't close! There are kids/adults i know personally whos only chance for being worthwhile people IS this place! Please don't close this center. From the bottom of my heart I beg you.

Jobcorps is where my life began. I was taught so much and got the help I needed to succeed. If they start being shut down, you would be crippling an entire generation that is already struggling to make it. It doesn't just prepare you for work, it saves lives!!!

So in 1964 LBJ created a program to help disadvantaged youth make something of themselves. This program was created to give American youth an opportunity to do better. To build America. To make them contributing member is society. To give them skills to get good jobs and overall help the American economy. Damn. That’s America. Sure things started rocky, but now these centers give youth opportunity, give America a skilled workforce to contribute to the tax base. These kids get good jobs, buy homes, spend money. These centers have a great workforce. These people who work at the centers buy homes in these rural communities, spend money, contribute to the tax base. Without this program many of these young people would either be living off the systems because they cannot get good paying jobs, finding other, non legal, ways to make money, or some may not be around. Some may find a way. They may have that drive to better themselves in another way. It will be a harder battle, but they may do it. The vast majority will be a burden on our tax system. The families who would have invested and settled in these rural communities by being hired to work at such a center will have work elsewhere. They may be contributing to an already rich tax base. Meanwhile these rural communities suffer. The companies that would have hired these skilled workers would be looking and may be understaffed.( I already read a report that construction companies are having issues finding workers). Closing, not only Anaconda’s, but all of the other Job Corps centers is a multifaceted moronic decision. The repercussions of which will be felt for years.

Please do not close it.

Please do not shut down Anaconda Job Corps ! I was a graduate and used my skills learned there for over 10 years professionally. Also my son, 20 years later, went and graduated from the same job corps, was hired midway, and is now a professional in that field of study from Anaconda Job Corps !!!

Changed my life and it would destroy me to see it destroyed my son is also about ready to go their himself

Please don’t close the door to opportunity for our youth.

I attended there 86-87 great program don't close it.

Save jobs and a great program that helps train people for good paying jobs!

I graduated from here it’s a great place

this is a very good program that Anaconda needs, there is nothing in that town to where people can earn a trade and learn. The town of Anaconda needs this where they have no other resources for people to learn for more education outside of high school.

This is the last thing our society needs..we need to keep this Job Corp OPEN! This place was my home for 16 months and it changed my life in a good way. If this center closes we will be letting soooooo many kids down and they will not have a chance at life.

I was a student there years ago it helped me to have a job and how to live on my own dont take sonething that helps kids and young adulits to achive these markers to adult hood .
