The picture of the sun is an excellent possibility of the cause of the accident, I feel they really need to check hard on this accident....

It was an unfortunate accident, and do not feel he would intentionally do anything to harm the children.

Ray is a great bus driver. I’m a retired teacher as of May 2018. Ray drove both of my kids and myself to many different places. He always thought of the kids first. The kids all loved him. He would have done anything for them. I believe the sun blinded him. He is a very responsible bus driver. He would give up his own life for those kids.

He would have never wanted this to happen. He’s already been “fined” with guilt and sadness that this mistake happened.

This man is a good man. He drove my kids fo at least 15, he always does what he can and in best interests for the children. Accidents happen car, bus, or planes.etc. let's not ripe him to shreds.

Absolutely NO CHARGES!! Sun was blinding that morning, as so many have attested to. His conscience is already eating him alive. He was more concerned about those kids than he was with his own injuries while evaluations were being done at the hospital..

Take some responsibility Dearborn county. Maybe instead of trying to charge a traumatized man of an accident, you could work toward a solution. Maybe install some kind of darkened windshield so the sun isn’t such a bother.

I do not feel like the bus driver should be charged with anything. Of course this was a tragedy but people make mistakes everyday. He was not under the influence he just made a mistake. He is human.

I can't believe that this life long driver would be subject ,to charges ,surely this wouldn't be to avoid the school from legalities if they were to arise I am sorry that a man who dedicates that many years service would be treated insuch a manner .

I drove my son to school that morning and had to almost put my face on the windshield so I could see the person in front of me the sun was super bright! I was going down 350 around 8 and it was still bad out even with sunglasses. This was accidental ! Really hard to see that morning ...

He is a great guy, I firmly blame it on the sun - blinding him! Drove for 20 years and no accidents!
