DON'T CHANGE ET! I loved how different Eastern Tech was from other high schools and I felt really proud of myself for getting accepted into one of their programs. It was awesome to experience studying a major during highschool, if they want a school that accepts everybody, just tell the students to go to their home schools. I love Eastern Tech the way it is!

I might say that I hate ET but really it's just the stress I feel from the work load I CHOSE. I feel like all of my efforts paid off when I got accepted to Eastern three years ago. The lottery system sucks and not everyone can get in, but that's kind of like how college is isn't it? And I feel so prepared even as a junior for college. They stress college and AP courses not only because they think we can do it but because if we apply ourselves in the class then that's a college credit that we wouldn't have to pay for in college. I don't think there's a teacher at ET that I hate, disagree on topic with, yes, but they are so devoted to teaching. If you don't think our teachers want to see us succeed, then you're wrong. If you think our teachers want us to succeed to look good, then you're wrong again. We can't be a school like no other if you take away what makes us that way. The magnets are amazing, there's a wide range so that there's an option for everyone, and the teachers are great at their jobs. I have so much pride and gained more self esteem by being at Eastern Tech. I don't care if I've graduated, when I become part of the alumni, I still want to be able to say that I graduated from Eastern Technical High School.

Don't take away these awesome programs away from my cousin's school!!! they have such brighter futures because of it!!

I think the school should remain the way it is now. Just coming into college knowing a general idea of what I like or not like to do in my future is an opportunity that not everyone obtains. I'm grateful for the engineering program at ET and I feel like it wouldn't be the same if I didn't get the engineering exposure in High School.

A move to remove Tech from ET would harm a great number of students County-wide. Keep the Tech in ET!

ET was a large milestone in my life. As well as making many friends and struggle at times with the high demand of work and high quality, I was preparing for college. I left eastern with a whole semester of college already completed and I only took one ap course. Eastern tech needs to stay the way that it is to help more students in the coming years

Things that are not broken do not need to be fixed! BCPS should be very proud to have a school like Eastern Tech. Kids that are willing to work very hard deserve a chance too .

Adding a neighborhood zone would change this school from a county wide school to a neighborhood school. You don't improve the achievement gap by brining the top down. Focus on fixing failing schools not destroying highly successful ones that kids zoned to failing schools can currently get into and succeed at.n
