keep the tech programs. They are very successful. I enjoyed my experience and have very fond memories from High School.

No changes needed with Blue Ribbon School with multiple National and State academic recognitions and awards and a graduation rate in the high 90 percentile and a high percentage of the graduates enter college.

This school should remain a technical school. Children need to learn trades to go out into the working world.

Please let the high achieving students of Balto Co have this gem of a school to aspire too! Don't "dumb it down!"

There should absolutely be NO CHANGE in the Tech Programs at Eastern Technical High School. Both of my children went to Eastern Tech and were honored to do so. They have both become leaders in their fields and also successful, I contribute much of their success to the oppurtunity of be a student of Eastern Tech. Why change a school who is rated as highly as they are.

ET is a fantastic school and please don't try to fix something that is not broken.

This would be a terrible thing. My kids went to Western Tech and the Tech classes have been a wonderful way to introduce these kids into the real world. The magnet programs need to keep the Tech classes at all of these schools. Between the academics, tech classes, sports and clubs these programs make for well rounded students.

I went to Eastern Tech for Allied Health and am currently finishing up my degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Having the knowledge from my allied health classes gave me such an advantage in college, and I know countless other people who were better equipped for college because of their magnet education at Eastern Tech. Please do not change these magnet programs and jeopardize the opportunity of an advantageous education for students in the future!

My two sons went to EVT for machine shop, they now have great jobs in management and manufacturing, then EVT cut the program, that was a horrible decision, machine shop jobs are in high demand, now this decision, another "BAD ONE"

As a alumnus of Eastern Tech it would a tragedy to take away the opportunities that ET provides for their students!

Why would you want to change an award winning school?

Don't change this school, it'll ruin the name, and the future for the students who want to go there as well as ruin what the alumni have from going there. This school prepared me for college so well and if you don't change it then it will continue to prepare students year after year for the college work load. It's important that they are readily prepared for the world after high school, and eastern tech has been doing that for years, why would you want to take that away from people?
