What makes St. John unique and special to visitors is it unspoiled nature. Do not develop. This is a mistake and the roads and infrastructure cannot absorb this commercialization.

Please keep St John like we have it. Some things really don't have to change to be better! We like it like it is and this is reverse progress. There are so few places on earth like St John we are lucky to have it JUST LIKE IT IS.

East end roads, infrastructure cannot bear such a development and this type of development would forever change the beautiful, pristine landscape of East End

Having been a resident of East End on Hansen Bay, I have seen the deterioration and destruction of the bay's coral and surrounding wetlands due to housing development. More development will destroy St. John's unique heritage of undesturbed beauty and life. This development would be disastrous to St. John. Money is not the substanance of Life!!!

I totally disagree with putting these units out on the east end. we all know what happened in cruz bay with that absolutely should NOT have been allowed to go in, start building and leave the island an eyesore. we do not need to destroy the east end now. I guess if the gov't gets an "incentive" during the night we will be stuck with it and if they do not finish they will be allowed to leave it as another eyesore to screw up the east end now. HOW DARE THEY. Other than the petition is there anything else going on to SQUASH this disaster?!

St. John is one of the most beautiful places anywhere and needs to stay that way! Development is not the island'd friend.

Anybody that would want to live on the East End does so because it is undeveloped and quiet!

For once, will our government agencies listen to the ordinary people they represent and not to the powerful, wealthy developers. We understand the island, we strive to maintain its charm, character and beauty; how many half-built or failed projects do we need to learn that these developers haven't a clue as to what islanders and vacationers want, let alone understand their impact on the island. While I'm at it, I urge you not to approve the planned marina project for Coral Bay, either. I have first hand knowledge that these enthusiastic developers don't have a clue either. DPNR must pay attention to their PRESENT problems, such as derelict boats and unregistered moorings in our bays, the environmental hazards piling up at our transfer station, the impacts of already approved projects wreaking havoc on the island's infrastructure, support system, and environment.
