We got cheated out of our locality pay for many years. It was placed in the merit pay point pool, therefore it was given as part of the performance award points, and of course most of the admin staff got more points. Locality pay is a right for everyone for the cost of living regardless. We want a back pay from the year 1997, when the FPS system started, that is for those who were on the payroll and thereafter

We were not given locality pay till the mid of 2017 but by law it should have been given from the day it became the law. Therefore, we demand for the arrears till the day it was implemented in DLI.
