This woman has found a way to help those who can't find home, the cost of living in city limit is outrageous!!! So this kind woman has found a way to give people homes, maybe MN needs to consider being more like Texas and allow people do what they please on their private properties!! DL let a huge hotel be put on a place the DNR said would harm the lake even more than it already is, and this is how they are going to hurt a Veteran! He's part of the reason we are still a free country! Shame on you DETROIT LAKES!!

By letting him stay you're helping him, her and that poor dog. People wonder why most countries hate Americans. This is why when we have a chance to help we don't unless there's a benefit please find it in your hearts to help these people that's what America is supposed to be about we help our own especially veterans.

This is just a classic example of DL flexing it's muscle and hurting locals.

DL and Olness family very disappointed. You should learn to treat people better.

I think that it is a disgusting thought that our great city of Detroit Lakes would allow this to happen to a vet. Yet they are so willing to hand welfare checks to lazy people. This man served our country, and put his life before ours. We should be showing featured, and doing anything to help this man.

There's nothing worse than neighbors who have to make trouble for others...except a City Council that won't accept the advice of an expert. Even the inspector told them to Grandfather it in.

I haven't lived in DL for four years, but doing something like this to someone who has fought for our freedom and and elderly property owner is disgraceful. Big shots trying to line their pockets. Hurting those who stuggle every day. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. Sound like a bunch of cowards.
