No one, especially the elderly, the disabled or sick, or our Veterans deserve to be treated in this manner! Please do what is right!!!

I think it's rude and disrespectful to kick a veteran out of there home. How about we kick the city council out of there houses and see how those rich snobs would feel. Down right disgusted with the Detroit lakes city council how rude of them tonal that to someone who fought for our freedom. And to the neighbors who want them gone how abkut we kick you out of your home and take your animals away from you you disrespect people. How rude of them to kick a veteran out on the streets down right disgusted

This place has been a rental unit since 1945. Zoning ordinance was not put in place till the late 1960's! It should be grandfathered in. Taking
what little income a 70 yo woman has and tossing a disabled vet out is WRONG! If woman complaining was not an "important" business owner in this town this never would have happened. Stop playing politics with peoples lived and let them stay in their home! (They should be give an reasonable amount of time to make repaired to bring up to code)

These folks need to stay right where they are at, and should not be forced out. They are good citizens, not causing any problems, paying taxes just as we do with a fixed income.

I believe that there are two sides to every story with the truth somewhere in the middle. Please grandfather in this rental home as long as the work is completed to bring it up to code.
Prayers to these wonderful people.
