My name is Charles B. Hill, I am running for The United States Congress, District 1 Georgia. I am running as a Progressive.
I am fed up with not
being represented, fed up with dis-information coming from those
elected, fed up with distortion, distraction, and deceit. If I run it
will be as a write in, I will need to file by September 7th, and need .. a petition, do not currently know how many signatures are needed
but I am researching that. If I run it will be as a Progressive, I will
not latch on to either party but will align with the person with the
best policy, regardless of party. If elected I would caucus with the
Democrats. If I run I will not accept any money from anyone. It will be
a grassroots effort, and 99% viral.
My opponent (Congressman Kingston) will deflect substantive policy issues with the tried and true method of the three G's [Gays, Guns, and God], I will ask voters if any of them have lost their jobs because two people of the same gender want to get married, I will ask voters if any of them have been unable to hunt or protect because machine guns are banned from inner city streets, I will ask voters if their right to pray has been infringed, I will ask voters if they want politics in Church. I am certain that the answer to all those questions will be no. I will ask voters to vote not with anger and fear, but hope and promise, I will ask voters to become engaged in a system that is built on their shoulders and not special interest, and finally I would ask voters to think and read and research their elected officials and see if their (the voters) interest and well being has been represented.
