My school has three shows a year and I can’t imagine my life without them. To have one amazing show and get it taken away is terrible.

I am a Jersey City resident and the district muiscal is able to develop and then showcase superb talent. Teaching acting skills helps students builds conffidence and interpersonal skills so this extraordinary. These kids are talented.

I helped the teacher with the play and they were all very talented and I also love acting as well, but it makes no sense that they can't fund it yet they afford so much for the schools. Why can't we fundraise the money like we do every year?????

I was in that play and it was great. I made new friends and I seriously want to become an actor. I don't get how they can't fund the drama fund but yet in a school the can buy about 30 chrome books (computers) for about 8 classes but they can't support this.

You have to make that work. This is what it is all about. Do you want these gifted children performing and developing creatively and and academically, making lifelong friends and having a positive experience that will help them through their lives or do you want them to hang around a school yard and get into a different kind of lifestyle because they are simply bored?

Uncle of Maggie Osterling. As an elected community college trustees with budget oversight, I am well aware of the budget constraints facing our schools. I am also aware of the enrichment that extra-curricular activities provide and the interest to stay in school. Please do everything you can to save the musical. It doesn't really cost that much, is a source school pride and helps connect the community to our schools.

I saw the Les Mis show 4 times, and was so inspired by the production and performances. (I have several NYC theater memberships and see tons of professional live theater.) These arts programs are invaluable for kids and promoting creativity, collaboration, innovation, teamwork and so many other life lessions.

Please, please give these kids the opportunity to experience the joy and learning lessons that a play will bring to them! I attended their Les Mis and was very impressed with their talent and commitment.
