One of my brothers and I were just talking this evening about how our family will never be "OK" after the deaths of our brother and sister-in-law at the hands of a distracted driver. It's been almost 8 years, and in some ways, it gets worse, not better. It is particularly painful to watch the impact of this senseless act on our niece and nephew, who are young adults.

Every morning when I go out to walk my dog, on average more than 90% of the people I see behind the wheel of a car are either talking on their phone or looking down at their phone. There may be a "no texting law "but I don't see less texting or cell phone use.
