I am tired of people texting (and talking) and are thus distracted while driving a vehicle weighing thousands of pounds. I urge you to do all you can to help eliminate this deadly behavior by making your smartphone software as responsible as possible. Thank you.

We know that people are using these apps while driving, and people are dying. This isn't about privacy or personal freedom rights, it's about protecting the sanctity of life. There can be no denying that people are causing the death and injury of themselves and others as a result of engaging with these apps while driving. No amount of free enterprise should trump importance of revisiting provider/user interface in the interest of public safety.

We drive around in two ton-toys and do way too many other things than focusing on the road. Risk assessment!
