Please move this detention center. If needed, please bring this to a public vote and not secretive. Transparency please

This is an absolute disgrace

Keep us safe!! Protect our borders!

I have been paying taxes and voting in this district for 40 years and I want it moved.

Don’t agree with a detention center being built

Start protecting the rights of American citizens first! LEGAL borders need to exist for the safety of ALL Americans! Do your job as representing us or pay the price next election cycle!

Shane on you Senators Sinema and Kelly, this is a direct response to your open border policies that allow the drug cartel to bring drug, gangs and illegals into our country. You allow the sex trafficking of children and women. Your Democrat policies care more about illegal people than our veterans who commit suicide at a rate of 200/day, many who are sleeping on the streets.

I DO NOT agree for this detention center to be put in place!!

Respect legal immigration and the process of becoming a US resident that leads citizenship.

Please remove these illegals from our hotels and move them elsewhere. Elderly taxpayers cannot afford their continual support

We need to take care of our homeless rather than illegal aliens or those seeking asylum.

Please do not allow this here in Scottsdale. Also this is less than a mile from Chaparral High School.

I would rather put the money being used towards helping ILLEGAL immigrants towards helping our own homeless, veterans, etc.

When ever tax dollars are spent, citizens should have a vote on the issue. Dropping non citizens in a area without community support is cruel. They should be in a safe government center waiting for their case to process

I don’t my tax dollars used on free assistance. People who come here need to be self sufficient.

I am across the street from this facility and feel that my safety has been completely taken away by the government. My community even had to hold a special security meeting with the police. These people have not been vetted and could cause harm to me and my family. I do not wish my tax dollars to be spent on people who unlawfully entered the country, but to lawful citizens (like our veterans) that need shelter in our 110 degree weather. Please remove this facility!
