Area is primarily residential. A school 2 blocks away, an Alzheimer's unit 2 blocks away. NOT an appropriate location choice. No way ICE can guarantee safety to residents. Nor do residents want to live in an environment of ICE guns and armored vehicles. Please house these people on a base.

Please do not use the facility at mountain View and Scottsdale Rd for an immigrant detention center. It is too close to Chaparral High school

I am deeply disappointed in our leadership for this Scottsdale detention decision without public approval. Please shut down.

It is unacceptable to establish a facility for people who are breaking the law. There was a process in place to handle this crisis and we need to return to that policy.

My girlfriend lives in a gated community on Golf Course. There are Sirens going on all through the night and two or three times a week there helicopters shining their lights down on the golf course looking for criminals. She lives near Shea and Scottsdale Road. Because of this all, she's making plans to move out of state as soon as possible. Just the other evening at the Circle K just around the corner from her house a lady was shot in the head and robbed. I don't say move Tomatoes Scottsdale I say move them the hell out of our country and send them back to where they came from !

Let’s take care of our homeless and veterans before illegals.

Detain them where they came from, if they can't go thru the legal process and become US citizens that actually work for a living, we do not need them in the US. We do not want illegals in this country. STOP

Get them out now! If Washington wants to allow this, let them stay there...or better yet, back in their country of origin.

Keep them out of our country, detain them where they came from until they are legally processed or drop them off with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at the White House so they can deal with them while they go through the proper legal process!!!!

We have lived near this intersection for 31 years. This is a misuse of government funds , and power. This is not a solution- even a quick fix, temporary one. Please stand firm, allow immigration only thru correct processes. Thank you!

Asylum seekers ARE illegals until they are given asylum status regardless of what our mayor says. Some of these don't even have a court date assigned.
