I am a Scottsdale AZ Native , property owner and mother . Please house immigrants closer to the border . There is no logical reason to bring them farther than where they illegally entered.

Asylum seeker versus illegal immigrant is just semantics. These people have been invited by the current administration to come into the country at the taxpayer’s expense. There was no notice given to stakeholders in the surrounding community and the City of Scottsdale just throws their arms up in the air and claims it is out of their control. This is so outrageous on many levels - not the least of it because it is right by schools!! Greyhound busses arriving, vans shuttling occupants from the Scottsdale Airpark to the hotel, food service/catering - are you kidding me? Don’t we have enough citizens in our own country to help?

Please bring our border back under control!

They should come here LEGALLY. i.e. respect our laws like most immigrants do to come into the USA. They should not be rewarded for breaking our laws.

I have 3 grandchildren who live across the street struggling with their parents in a 2 bedroom. How dare our government forget about us while Biden puts stress on more American families by using our tax dollars to facilitate immigrants BEFORE Americans. He should be ashamed.

This is out of the question. I have American born parents but because I was Born in England I was a British subject and had to go through the court system to be some a US Citizen. I am against allowing them to walk in and get free what the rest of us had to work for. Nor do I want to support more people. I am totally against this.

This detention center is very close to Chaparral High School, which is hosting many summer camps & an active school with many kids walking around the hotel. There is no regard for children’s’ safety & it needs to be shut down.

This needs to be stopped now. Shut this down and send them all to DC!

All, It is important to me, as one of your constituents to make it a priority to move this group of people out of Scottsdale. This group of people have not been vetted for prior crimes and are potentially dangerous. They have not paid taxes and the actions of the Federal Government should not bring hardship to the US citizens. Housing people who have been brought into the US was not on the ballot and has not been approved by the people. It is arrogant and tyrannical that I now have my rights to walk the neighborhoods in freedom taken away by the decisions of lawmakers with no consultation with your constituents and there is no formal plan presented with a budget snd concern for the physical safety of the American people. Also, you have now exposed us to child trafficking, gang members and fetanol dealers. I suggest you start holding town meetings to find out what the people want. This is not about what you want. Remember, You are all public servants.
