This should stop at the border this should not be the responsibility of the states . The government has the audacity to bring these people through open borders into our country The Biden ministration moves these illegal immigrants in to out states and have the taxpayers pay for them. This is a bad idea and very dangerous and through this we have drug trafficking and human trafficking. We have a legal system and people of been waiting legally in line with the proper documents they come first. We must have a sovereign border! Shame on our current administration for this crime as they are committing!!!

I’m not in favor of housing families of people who came to America illegally. Our tax dollars should be spent on American citizens.

This is a safety risk. A block away from a high school!

It’s irresponsible to allow this and an invitation to increased crime to do this to the residents of scottsdale and beyond!

This is NOT safe or legal! One block from chaparral high school is not a good location for 1200 illegal immigrants. Do not let them take over this former hotel

We want a say or vote on border security and on who is moving into our residential neighborhood.

This is an illegal use of the property per the zoning laws. It is also in direct violation of the will of the residents who live and work near here. We do not want this in our neighborhood.

Do not bring criminals to house them in hotel rooms and provide healthcare and comforts at my expense. I live close to these “vacant” Scottsdale hotels and see homeless Americans go without accommodations but find it appalling that criminals who come here are better treated than our own. They need to get back to their own country.

As a resident of Scottsdale I implore you to hear the voices of these communities and remove this detention center which is in the midst of residential neighborhoods with many schools and houses of worship and done without the knowledge of it’s residents.

Those who are blatantly disregarding our wants and voices are waiting to see the citizens’ reaction - if the pushback is not strong enough they will continue to force this illegal activity of planting illegals in more hotels, neighborhoods - safety goes out, it will start resembling CA and other places where they feel free to help themselves at grocery & other stores without paying etc etc. ,and no one even bothers to hold them accountable. The message is: Breaking our laws is ok - go ahead, take whatever you can - (while others have to earn their way) This is a mockery of law and order, mockery of our citizens voices - are we going to just let them make fools of us - again? In our own neighborhoods? They are ours as long as we stand up for them!
