We all know and love the Star Wars movies and part of what makes the original trilogy so magical and captured the imaginations of millions was pre computer special effects. Puppets, miniatures and scale models came together in an organic way that really captured the essence of boundless movie making. Now that Disney has acquired the rights to Star Wars, let’s let them know how much better those movies looked when we had Jim Henson’s excellent muppets and not CGI.
