This family are NOT looking for hand outs !!! They are part of the Community. Unlike LOTS of Immigrants who have been given flats and handouts !!!!

This family have been an asset to the Laggan community. It is incredible that the Home Office can't understand this. If the family leave, the chance that another investor will support the community shop in the same way.

I have friends who live in Laggan and the local shop is an integral, if challenging and low profit, part of village life. If these people have been willing to take on the important role of running the local shop in a highland village with the promise of personal, if not financial, reward then they should be encouraged to stay as long as possible.
