Scottish Highland are facing depopulation - we need to welcome hard working families.

Let these new Scots stay, in the community they love and are a vital part of.

This is a travesty, Scotland and Canada have strong ties. There are far more undeserving immigrants sponging off the UK who don't deserve to stay. The Zielsdorf family however DO.

This benefits no one and is just one more example of a petty-minded HO implementing a one size fits all immigration policy that harms Scottish interests at every turn. Pathetic and needlessly cruel.

Spent many happy times in the Laggan. The way this family is being treated is an outrage.

My blood is boiling. Come on, for goodness sake. Here is a family who have committed themselves to a rural community for the past 8 years and what support do they get? Get real Home Office.

This is a disgraceful decision but the Westminster government. Wasn't one of the ideas after Brexit to forge closer ties with the Commonwealth countries. This sets a great precedent.

This is not the Britain that I grew up in. Sense has gone, stupidity had replace it. A more flexible system is needed.

When immigrants come into our country and are handed housing and benefits why are they deporting this family who are making a positive contribution.

Scotland needs families like this. Criteria for refusal do not match Scotland's economic or political goals. Ridiculous decision by the Home Office

Let this family stay. They are providing a service needed in the Highlands.

Beyond comprehension, we must extract ourselves from this abusive union and be the inclusive international country that we know we are

This is an appalling situation, that seems to be made worse by quite the most perverse Government ww have had to suffer for many years.
