How does this tie in with the Localism Act, with the basic concept of lcoal democracy, with reinvigorating local rural communities, with common sense, with a sense of British fair play? How does this show anything other than measly minded xenophobia?

The way these people are being treated, people who have done nothing but good for their community, and are welcomed by their own community, should NEVER be treated like this. This country desperately needs people with skills, talent and a love for our country. Quite frankly, the Brits have a long way to go in that department. STOP hounding those who only wish to fit in, work hard and provided for the British people.
