Stupid to send them back, they are contributing to the local and uk economies, better to export some of the uk nationals who won`t work. (but i know that won`t happen)

Surely this is rediculous, they have created a family life here, provide a much needed service and are bringing their children up in an area which is desperate for new people. I just can't understand how this has gone this far.

Where is the sense in all this ? Scotland in general , and the Highlands in particular, are in a different situation from many parts of England where there is a fear, real or imagined, of immigrants' taking our jobs'. These dear folk are at the heart of their rural community and in a real sense 'the glue' running, as they do, the village store. I pray for yet another change of heart [ the Drains of Dingwall] by the out of touch Westminster Govt even at this late hour..

It doesn't make any sense to deport them. We need these sort of hard working people.
They are not on benefits and are contributing to the economy. What more can they do? They should be allowed to stay here, no other option

This country is becoming stupid. It's not even like they are living g in a city with badly paying jobs, that could be done by ignorant white British sole scum. These guys are creators, have British children and live in an isolated place

As a formerly proud British European (and 1/4 Scots) I am truly horrified that a family who have palpably invested such time, energy, funding and love into their community are being treated with such inappropriate, inflexible and heavy-handed contempt.
