I've known Jason & Christy going back almost 20 years now. They are a wonderful, God-fearing couple. They are missed back in Canada - but we know they are doing amazing things in Laggan, and their hearts & lives are there. Please let them stay & continue their work - they are a positive & welcome presence in Scotland!

I have known Jason and his family for over 15 years. He is a humble Christian man with a warm heart defined by passion for God, compassion for people, diligence, discipline and dedication. They are very much loved by their home community in Canada, but as a true believer, they love to experience God's grace and mercy away from their comfort zones. That is a lot of courage and faith, qualities much needed in today's world that only seeks after comfort. I highly recommend this family with no reservation that they will be a blessing to any community they are led to settle in.

Honestly, we would love love love to have the Zielsdorfs back in Canada, but their heart is in Scotland - let them stay and continue to do good work in their local community.

The Zielsdorfs epitomise the finest qualities in the new generation of highland families. Their deportation would be a grotesque reminder of the bad old days that emptied the land of previous generations of highland families.

This family have taken nothing out but given so much into our own economy and society , unlike others who have been welcomed into our midst. Come on Nicola , intervene as you have done for others . Please!

We stopped in past Laggan Stores & Coffee Bothy over the weekend on a trip north. The family are part of their community, contribute to the local economy, and to Scotland's tourist industry. This is a remote area, and they've embraced raising their family there and have set up a successful business which should be encouraged. It's crazy not to give them the chance to continue their contribution.

Those that come to this country, by whatever means, and make an effort to improve our local economy and accept our culture should be made welcome not driven from their homes.

The removal of this family is ludicrous, they are a benefit to the community and travellers. Please let them stay.

Can't think of a family we could want more in the Highlands, where we desperately need people with commitment, kindness and the ability to make a business flourish.

It is lunacy to send these people away from their home and business.
