Final supporters
Currently DCC does not offer high school boys or girls lacrosse(LAX)teams. All male student athletes who play LAX are required to play for Air Academy High School. All female athletes are required to enter a lottery to be assigned to one of the other four District 20 schools lacrosse teams. DCC’s student athletes should be able to represent their own school for athletic competition. Having our own LAX teams is consistent with a key priority for the DCC leadership team: school spirit. Let’s support the DCC students by giving them a chance to play lacrosse for DCC ThunderLAX!

This would be a wonderful addition to our school. Many of us have kids playing currently and siblings looking to play in years to come
Would be a great addition to the school's athletic program, and keep in mind the recognition the school could have through scholarships and what not.
I would be supportive of this as well, if the numbers generated would adequately staff a Varsity and JV Teamteam.
We would really like to see DCC get a boys Lacrosse team. This is the number one growing sport in the US. There are probably 20+ boys who will be freshman next year at DCC currently wanting to play HS lacrosse. I would be more than happy to help fundraise, and I am confident we can fully fund the team with no issue. In addition, there are numerous Dads that would be happy to step up to help with coaching. My son is tired of having to play for a different school. Its time we had our own team at DCC so the kids can actually play for their own colors

They should have their own team because all of the kids that go to Discovery Canyon Campus are all talented and there is a lot of talent at the school DCC.
