This move by the KFCB is just another move to oppress the citizens of this country and especially the youth who depend of this videos to show off their creativity on social media. The KFCB is an organization that belongs to the stone age and should not be a part of our modern society if its intentions are to destroy and s extinguish the creativity of our young people.

The law is an infringement of the people right and freedom to expression...and also has been laid on the aim of exploiting the kenyan unemployed youth...i think the KFCB should focus first on creating employment opportunities for the kenyan youth rather than curtailing their freedom to expression. If youtube and other social media platforms don't charge for uploading or downloading/viewing content...why should KFCB?? Its ok to regulate content but not right to charge content creators...most of the content created is based on the hope of being discovered and being given the opportunity to practise what is on sale...i think the KFCB is an enemy of FILM MAKING in kenya...and it should be chaired by a professional film maker!!!

The focus should be on promoting the industry and not draggging it down with such regulations.

Disband KFCB and repeal Cap 222 of the Laws of Kenya.
I am of the opinion that Ezekiel Mutual does not help, but rather oppresses Kenyan creative minds. He should resign with immediate effect.

It’s a shame that the government can allow such an industry filled with youths to such exorbitant licenses and still claim to want the best for us.

how can they charge for something that is free, what rights do they have over youtube!...
instead of supporting vloggers and content creators they see it as a cash cow...#BS
