Disband the Baca Grande Property Owners Association

You have my vote to disband the POA 3849 Jubilant Way Since 2003

This organization is completely inept. The fees are way too high for what little they provide. The county could and should be providing the services they claim to provide. Roads aren't being paved. None of the roads have ditches for proper drainage. The water and sewage system is a disaster. Funds are wasted in obscene ways. We pay taxes to Saguache County that should provide those things. As for the golf course, never has there been a bigger waste of time, money and space! Turn this area over to Saguache County and enforce the codes. Better yet, incorporate the Baca Grande into Crestone and make this the county seat. More people live here than anywhere else in the county! Maybe then some of our tax dollars will stay here instead of going to Saguache.

Pass it

Crestone has always been known for being a hallmark for sustainable & earth friendly building practices. If we need a property owners association, which I doubt, let's have one that supports these goals rather than endangering them. Many owner/builders, valuable members of our community, have been persecuted, fined egregiously, and had their projects slowed down or stopped by these restrictive regulations. Let's have more enlightened governing group, if we must have one..

thank you. This has been a a long time coming. Many have put forth effort to rectify this situation to no avail. This is a ctitial step to the re-writing and reorganization of the Baca. Let's reset the standard for sustainable and resilient community living.

They’re just awful. Predators

Gone are the days of manifest destiny.

Citizens have the constitutional right to arrest felons. Should we arrest members of the board for their criminal activity?

My building permits were not renewed becuase "not enough progress was made" in the first 18 months. Too bad we were trying to build our first home and spent too much money on our wedding and haad two cars break down and a thyroid issue to deal with Had to tear down everything. So much for building our first home.

This body keeps going back to its stance of making it hard for poor people to build houses.

Absentee property owners who make no financial contribution to this community should not have a full vote over residential owners. No American should be told what they can or cannot do with their property by a faceless name on a paper.

More sovereignty and less rules and fines !

Remember there is the defunct POA that ceased to exist in 2000. The fraudulent POA was never supported by the property owners. They have been stealing people's $$ since then

the board must now resign or face prosecution. NO indemnification protection for criminal fraud and conspiracy only civil court. Thinking ahead....what do we want to replace POA with? Land Law Township perhaps? WE now must file class action Lawsuit to recover our past losses in annual dues !! perhaps use that money to start over with services FOR THE PEOPLE. Millions of $$. Lawsuit to the max of the POA's insurance policy.

This is just wrong!

This association is operating illegally and with knowledge of said unlawful acts at this time. Time to scrap it & begin anew.

Its not decent to try and uproot families from there home. And unlawfully take private owners land. Im livid yall need to back off!

The members have never approved assessments for Reserves. Reserves are being used to force payment. Just stop paying dues to this fraudulent corporation. You have good cause. Ask the BGPOA to show where the owners have authorized savings of assessments for more than the 'cash' needs of the organization. Please do not agree to the ballot issue allowing the BGPOA to save unspent assessments.
