Instead of raising fees, could we consider fundraising activities? There are many ways we could achieve the required funds which could also help build community spirit between both campuses? Would respectfully request reconsideration. Thank you.

A building and maintenance fee for what?
We have
- toilets that are about to fall apart
- no changing rooms
- no showers
- no shaded play/PE area
The fee is intended for a building that Chatsworth should move to in August 2018 (or later) and my children will never set foot in.
You are, rapidly, closing the fee gap with schools that do have the facilities.

I oppose the uplift in fees for building and maintenance. The revenue generated from this will facilitate improvements for a campus the children receive no benefit. Reconsider for the sake of the children, your reputation in the East and the community built over the years.

Our family is relatively new to the school & we may have missed newsletters etc. on this topic, but have other more creative fund raising options and revenue sources been discussed with the parents?
You are proposing to increase the school fees, which seems to be the soft / easy option for revenue generation. Have the parents been invited to any meetings to discuss and have input on the new school building that you are proposing to spend our money on?

I think this fee is underhand and unnecessary. It promotes the kind of sneaky 'move the goalpost' values that I am sure none of our children want to inherit. I urge the school to reconsider for its own reputation and to restore the faith and loyalty of the parents.

It is not appropriate to charge the additional fee (Building & Maintenance fee) to students of East Campus that have not enjoyed the benefits yet.

I oppose this fee levy on Chatsworth East students. A cost accounting approach should be taken and the new campus costs should be charged out to students who avail of the new campus facilities. The charge out should also start after the facilities are completed based on incurred cost (and not some notional cost estimates). This ensures fairness as only those who are using the facilities are paying for it and there is transparency about the fee levied.

I understand a building fee however the amount should be explained like in a Profit and Loss Statement. What are the findings are used for at the current location and not to subsidise other buildings which are not related to the campus. Cannot see the transparency of the fee.

- toilet is not up to standard
- canteen food that has been served is not up to expectation... Frozen chicken nugget and sweet cake
We are going to be in that building maybe another 1-2 years...

Disagree with any levy that is unclear and disguised.

Fair enough to pay more if you enjoy a better school, but paying it before ready not even knowing the Project is not correct.

Completely inappropriate to be charging a fee for a future school that my child won't be attending. I hope you take a common sense approach and do the right thing.
Grossly unfair especially to those of us leaving the school soon.
