George Washington University's new Online Masters of Public Health (MPH) program is launching in Spring of 2013. GW aims to graduate up to 700 students through the online MPH program per year. While students typically spend 2-3 years completing their MPH over 6 semesters, the online program will only be 40 weeks. Online students will not have to apply through SOPHAS. The new online program is a general MPH degree with no track designations. On-campus students cannot take any classes online. Online students are not required to set foot in DC at any point in time.

Official documents such as transcripts and degrees will NOT indicate that any coursework was completed online.

Don't let your degree get watered down. Join your fellow students in signing this petition demanding that GW differentiate the online from the on-campus MPH degree.

Please write your track or department under the "comments" section!

NOTE: There are currently ~900 students enrolled in GW's MPH program
