I never saw a man hit a ball harder and Farther than Dick Allen. What a thrill to watch him bat. The most Productive Offensive Players in Phillies History , yes better than Schmidt. Allen lifetime Average is .292. Schmidt is in the .260's.

Dick Allen is long overdue to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame.A Rookie of the Year with the Phillies to an MVP with the White Sox. I was born in 1958 and grew up loving baseball and the greats of the game. Dick Allen was truly one of the game's greats for well over a decade. The media and Voters are human and I believe simply slighted Dick Allen, simply because he wasn't nice enough to them. The time has come for Dick Allen to be enshrined!

Most Powerful Hitter I ever saw and I saw a ton of them . Combine that with this stat I recently read, Dick Allen had a 165 OPS + from 1964 to 1974. That ranked in FIRST, ahead of all great player like Hanks Aaron, Wille Mays, and Willie Stargell. Wow !.

One of the most powerful Hitters in Baseball History. It seemed like 500 ft Home Runs was an everyday occurrence.

No one hit the ball harder than Dick Allen. If Willie Mays says Allen is a Hall Of Famer, then obviously he belongs
