Dick Allen had a 165 OPS+ over a ten year period. 1964 to 1974. That number ranked him first. He was trailed by 15 future Hall of Famers . That Statistic alone justified him being in the Hall of Fame. In addition to the OPS + the new Analyrics really help his cause. Throw man seems to be blacknown balled because he wouldn't speak to the media and was just a person who walked to a different beat than others. However when Dick Allen was on the field all I saw was Greatness.

I understand his fellow one vote short on the last ballot. My father told me what a tremendous power Hitter he was. He also hit for a high average which many power hitters do not. I just watched a recent video produced by the MLB Network and after I watched it. He should have been in a long time ago.

Why Dick Allen Isn't in the HOF Right Now is one Big Mystery. I defer to Rich Goose Gossage, who said during his Hall of Fame acceptance speech that Dick Allen was the Greatest Player He Ever Played With. I believe he played with a few other Hall of Famers

ALLEN IS BASEBALLS ALL TIME MOST FEARED POWER HITTING SLUGGER OF ALL TIME .THE GREAT DICK ALLEN IS THE GREATEST BASEBALL PLAYER OF THEM ALL . FROM 64-74 ALLEN DOMINATED MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. PLAYING AGAINST THE BEST PLAYERS MAYS MCCOVEY AARON FRANK ROBINSON STARGELL CLEMENTE AND HIS 165OPS + WAS THE HIGHEST OF THEM ALL . ROOKIE OF THE YEAR MVP 2 TIME HOME RUN KING 3 TIME SLUGGING KING 4 TIME OPS KING 7 TIME ALLSTAR AND STILL 7 TH ALL TIME CAREER WALK OFF HOME RUNS . HIT 20 HOME RUNS OVER 500 FEET FROM 64 -74 . LAST 500 FOOT HOME RUN WAS IN THE YEAR 2000 . HE HIT 2 INSIDE THE PARKS IN 1 GAME . HIS 534 SLUGGING IS 43RD ALL TIME HIS 912 OPS IS AWESOME 292 LIFETIME BATTING AVERAGE . HIS 156 OPS + IS OFF THE CHARTS HIS WAR NUMBERS OFF THE CHARTS . ALLEN WAS A PHENOM U THINK MAYS WAS BETTER ALLEN WAS MAYS AND MANTLE ALL WRAPPED UP INTO 1 SUPER ELITE PLAYER . FROM 1ST TO 3RD ALLEN WAS A SUPER CAT BOB HAYES LIGHTING FAST . WHO WAS BETTER ..... BILL JENKINSON SAYS ALLEN IS 2ND TO BABE RUTH IN LONG DISTANCE ALL TIME HOME RUNS . 3RD IS FOXX THEN MANTLE. TAKE A LOOK AT HIS NUMBERS COMPARED TO ANY PLAYER THAT HAS GOTTEN IN SINCE ALLEN RETIRED AND ONLY WILLIE MCCOVEY HAVE NUMBERS CLOSE TO ALLEN . ALLEN DOMINATES ALL CATEGORIES EXCEPT HOME RUNS AN RBI THATS BECAUSE MCCOVEY HAD 2500 MORE AT BATS . ALLEN FAR THE SUPERIOR PLAYER THAN MCCOVEY . MCCOVEY ON THE RECORD SAID TED WILLIAMS AND ALLEN THE 2 BEST HITTERS HE EVER SEEN. MAYS SAYS ALLEN HITTING THE FURTHEST HOMERS HE EVEN SEEN IN HIS LIFE AND SAYS ALLEN WAS AND STILL IS A HOFER . ORLANDO CEPEDA SAYS ALLEN IS THE GREATEST . ALLEN STRONGEST FASTEST AND HIGHEST PAID OF HIS TIME AND ITS CRIMINAL SUPERSTAR DICK ALLEN HASNT BEEN IN THE HOF FROM THE FIRST TIME HE BECAME ELIGIBLE

I hope I can contribute just a small piece of evidence with my signature. Dick Allen just missed being elected in 2014 by ONE VOTE. Those in power hopefully takes that into consideration.
