Dick Allen was the best player in baseball between 1964 and 1974, and he has the stats to back this up. He was better than Mays, Aaron, Mantle, McCovey, Banks, Williams, Santo, Perez, Bench, Morgan, Stargell, Clemente, F. Robinson, Mathews, Cepeda-all HOFers. It s an injustice that this man is not enshrined in Cooperstown. Let's get Allen in the Hall!! He deserves the honor.

He was the best the Phillies ever had. He was then and still is my dear friend. He deserves to be in the Hall of fame. All he wanted to do is go to the ball park and play ball. I am sure he could hit the ball today as he did then.

i can come up with dozens of separate stats (both traditional and analytical) that show Dick Allen as the only non-Hall of Famer to achieve them. We hope that changes in 2018.

Just compare Allen's numbers to comparable Hall of Famers and him getting in should be a no-brainer.
