I miss the library. It was so close. I often took my son for story time. Quite a shame when it closed.

Board of Supervisors: Please look at the facts and figures and reverse this decision to close. A lot of money was spent on this beautiful facility and to let it be vacant and deteriorate is shameful.

YOU KEEP A LIBRARY OPEN IN PEARLINGTON WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A TENTH OF THE POPULATION OF DIAMONDHEAD BUT YOU CAN'T KEEP THIS ONE OPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOOK MOBILE THAT WAS DONATED FOR PEARLINGTON AFTER KATRINA. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO IT.

This was built with our tax dollars and was used by many in quiet solitude. Fix the problems and reopen! I'm certain their are many other budget areas that can be cut to allow this facility to continue responsibly.
